Our AFC Wimbledon Foundation is once again supporting the Wimbledon Foodbank by organising a match day collection for Northampton.
Supporters gave very generously at the Blackpool game and our AFC Wimbledon Foundation staff (pictured above) dropped off the items to the community facility at High Path, South Wimbledon.
Your donations will be very much appreciated once again to this vital cause, which supports local families in need.
Wimbledon supporters have given generously to this cause in recent years, particularly before Christmas on previous occasions. However, after being in touch with the Foodbank, it was requested that we provide support at this time of year, rather than hold a Christmas collection, as their stocks are lower at this point.
All the basic food and drink items are wanted at this time of year, including the following:
• Cereal
• Soup
• Sugar
• Rice
• Pasta sauce
• Beans
• Tinned meat
• Tinned vegetables
• Tea/coffee
• Tinned fruit
• Biscuits
• Squash
