Neal Ardley said that Lyle Taylor produced an 'outstanding' performance at Plymouth last night, after the Dons striker passed the half century mark for Wimbledon goals.
Lyle's double took him to 51 goals in all competitions for Wimbledon and it could have been more with his penalty saved in the second-half.
Asked afterwards about the significance of Lyle passing the milestone, Neal said: "It tells you he is a very good player, that's why the Plymouth fans were picking on him. If we can keep him in that form we will have a great chance. I thought Lyle was outstanding and it was a shame because he deserved the penalty, he deserved a hat-trick. That might have made for a very interesting last 15 minutes."
