AFC Wimbledon go in pursuit of more vital points against Northampton tomorrow and tickets are available to show your support for the Dons.
Neal Ardley’s men will be aiming to recapture the impressive form shown in January, including a 2-0 win in the last home game against Blackpool on Saturday 20 January.
Yes, it’s almost three weeks since our last home game! Come along and create a cracking atmosphere to lift the team against Northampton. The picture above shows Harry Forrester striking the winner in the corresponding fixture in October.
Below is a summary of ticket details and other match arrangements, ahead of the game.
Seat tickets are sold out for this game, but terrace tickets are still available. You can buy online for the popular Chemflow End or the RyGas terrace. Online bookings can be made until 11.00 am on Saturday, with collection pre-match from the white booth in Jack Goodchild Way. Tickets will be available to buy on the day.
Our AFC Wimbledon Foundation is once again supporting the Wimbledon Foodbank by organising a match day collection for Northampton.
Supporters gave very generously at the Blackpool game and our AFC Wimbledon Foundation staff dropped off the items to the community facility at High Path, South Wimbledon.
Your donations will be very much appreciated once again to this vital cause, which supports local families in need.
To view a list of items wanted for collection, see our previous article. Visit the Wimbledon Foodbank website for more information.
Club Shop Sale
Our merchandise team earlier this week announced a club shop sale with AFC Wimbledon kit and training wear available at reduced prices. Pop into the club shop tomorrow (open from 11.00 am until 2.45 pm, and until 5.30 pm after the game) to pick-up a bargain.
The full 2016-18 away kit and goalkeeper's kits, along with the home shorts and socks, and 2018-19 training kit, are available at a reduced price, both online and in the club shop.
Away shirts for adults are available at just £25 with the same price for goalkeeper tops. You can also visit the online club shop to take advantage of this offer. As these are still available in the shop, they will for the time being remain in their normal spot online (not in the SALE category).
These will be open from 12 noon tomorrow and we will be pleased to welcome Northampton supporters into the bar areas.
There will be a wide selection of drinks available, with ales on offer as follows:
Plough Lane Ale
Plough lane ale
The main bar will close at 6.00 pm due to a function, but both the Presidents Lounge and back bar will remain open.
You can get here early to watch the North London derby between Spurs and Arsenal, which will be shown live on TV screens from 12.30 pm. Manchester City v Leicester will also be on TV after the Dons v Northampton game.
Tomorrow’s offering is packed with news, interviews, and features, all about your club. There’s an extensive interview with the club’s newly appointed Chief Operating Officer Joe Palmer, plus manager Neal Ardley’s thoughts ahead of the game. Also, find out if your selection for best-ever Wimbledon loan signing made the cut for our social media page called ‘Wimbledon Wonders’.
Dons Trust Kiosk
Dons Trust members and people interested in the work of the Trust are welcome to visit the Dons Trust kiosk before the match. Come and ask board members Colin Dipple and Charles Williams about the work of the board generally or about the work they are doing on membership engagement / communications and stadium oversight. You can also join the Trust or renew your membership at the kiosk, sign up to the Dons Draw (our regular monthly lottery) or donate loose change.
Tickets for away match at Plymouth
You can book tickets for Tuesday’s game from the complimentary tickets window before the match tomorrow, and for a short time afterwards. Places on the supporters’ coach can also be booked.
