Tom Soares is relishing the prospect of taking on his former club Bury tomorrow night after making the move to AFC Wimbledon 13 months ago.
The 31-year-old struck the goal that got Bury promoted to League One in 2015, but now his focus is on helping the Dons to three important points after a good start to 2018.
"It will be good to see the staff, the fans, and some of the boys who are still up there, but at the end of the day we have a job to do and we are going to go up there and do it," said Tom. "Scoring on the last day of the season at Tranmere to get promotion (was the highlight).
"Everyone's game changes over the years; you are more experienced, you have been in certain situations a lot of the time, so you deal with it better. My game has changed a lot."
