Dean Parrett is poised to step-up his recuperation after long-term injury with a run-out for the development squad on Tuesday afternoon (1.00 pm kick-off at Merstham FC).

Dean (pictured), who required an operation on his groin after an injury at Oxford in October, is pencilled in for tomorrow's Central League cup match against Bristol City.

Paul Robinson and Harry Forrester are other first-teamers earmarked to play in the game.

Alan Reeves said: "They need minutes because there is a big period coming up for the first-team in February with seven games. These lads are going to be needed during that spell. Dean has been doing a lot of fitness work with Jason Moriarty, but it's not the same as playing in games."

Meanwhile, young forward Jayden Antwi has gone out on loan to Evo-Stick Premier South side Farnborough, a move that Alan believes is best for his development at this stage.

"We just thought that he has played enough football for the Under-23s now," added Alan. "He is physically developed enough and he needs to go out and play men's football, rather than playing for the Under-23s."

Jayden featured as a second-half substitute for Farnborough in a 4-0 win at home to Dunstable Town on Saturday.

Spectators are welcome at tomorrow's match with admission prices at £5 for all.
