The start of the 2018/19 season is under a month away and we'll be holding an open training session at our New Malden training base.
This is your opportunity to see Neal Ardley and his coaching staff put the new-look squad through their paces.
It will take place on Thursday 26 July, just nine days before the new League One campaign gets underway, so don’t miss out on this unique chance to take a look behind the scenes!
The invite to attend is open to fans of all ages, but the event is aimed at younger Dons supporters and their families with plenty of fun challenges and opportunities being run by our AFC Wimbledon Foundation.
These include the following:
• Penalty shoot-out
• Five-a-side matches with the players
• Skills challenges
• Coaching sessions with Foundation coaches/small sided games
• A chance to win hospitality prizes/AFC Wimbledon memorabilia in a raffle
• Photo opportunities with first-team players/management
Philip Rudling, AFC Wimbledon Foundation Director, said: “It’s a great opportunity for the club to do what it does best and interact with its family of supporters in the local community. Neal Ardley and Neil Cox are always very supportive of this type of activity and are looking forward to engaging with young fans in the relaxed environment of the training ground.”
The event will be staged from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm at the training ground (next to Woodies Social Club). The address is: Thetford Road, New Malden KT3 5DX.
More details will follow about this event in due course, including timings.
