What better way to take a look at Neal Ardley’s new-look squad by coming along to our open training session next Thursday!
Aimed at younger Dons during the school holidays, the event on 26 July at New Malden will also consist of fun challenges, including training with the first-team squad, playing in five-a-side matches, and taking part in a Q & A with the manager!
The U-18s will have an open training session that all fans are welcome to stay and watch from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm.
What a day we have in-store for you!
Below are the approximate timings for this event:
• 11.00 am: Gates open - Watch training session until 12.30 pm – Kids activities, including the following; penalty shoot-out, inflatable shoot out, five a side matches, skills challenges. Raffle tickets will be sold for great prizes! Academy U-18 players to lead skills stations.
• 12.30pm: First players hold coaching session with kids.
• 1.00pm: Q & A for kids with Manager/assistant manager. Plus raffle draw, autographs and photo opportunities with players.
• 2.00 pm: Foundation group continue coaching session/small sided games.
• 3.00 pm: Family open day comes to an end. However, our Academy will hold open coaching session until 4.00pm.
Everybody is welcome, but the emphasis of the event will be on kids.
