AFC Wimbledon Under-18s produced a very promising display on Monday afternoon by getting the better of category one academy side Swansea City – and you can watch the best of the action.
A 3-2 victory was achieved in fine style with Zachary Robinson getting the ball rolling just before the half hour after good work by David Fisher, who doubled the advantage with a clinical strike from 19 yards. Though Swansea reduced the arrears before the break in a match played at Carshalton FC, Bobby Mills made it 3-1 after 10 minutes of the second-half. Another goal from Swansea came just before the hour, but three was just enough for Wimbledon to earn a notable triumph on Monday.

Speaking after the game, Under-18s captain Archie Proctor (pictured above) said: "Against Woking we faced more of a direct threat with a lot of runners in behind, but Swansea were a lot more technical and played the ball around better. We are preparing for every situation really because it's important to adapt to different styles. Against Woking we could not really work on our pressing due to the way that they played, but Swansea were insistent on playing out from the back, so we pressed them well, and that's what led to goals. It's been really good to test ourselves against a variety of styles."
