Neal Ardley said that he may have to do without Cody McDonald for the run-in after the striker's metatarsal injury worsened.
Cody missed the 1-1 draw at Rochdale on Saturday and Neal said that an injury he had been carrying from earlier this season had flared up.
"We lost Cody last week and it looks like the fracture he has been carrying has got worse," said Neal. "It looks like it is not good news for us. If Cody's injury is a complete fracture there is a chance we will not have him for probably the rest of the season."
Cody McDonald has scored seven goals in all competitions this season after joining Wimbledon last summer. All at AFC Wimbledon wish Cody well in his recuperation.
Young striker Jayden Antwi has returned from his loan spell at Farnborough.
