George Long said that the Dons paid the price for a 10-minute spell at the start of the second-half at Shrewsbury, but he remains confident that Wimbledon can stay in League One.
Speaking to our iFollow channel after the 1-0 defeat, George said: "We matched them pretty much throughout the game, but it was just that first 10 minutes in the second-half. We did not quite come out of the traps quick enough and they capitalised. It is frustrating because we put in a really good performance and it could have gone either way.
"People who watched the game can see the togetherness we've got, the work ethic. We are not giving up on stuff, even towards the end. If we perform like that in the last eight games, we will be more than fine."
