Following last week’s announcement about the departure of Neal Ardley and Neil Cox, the Club has received around 80 applications for the role of AFC Wimbledon first team manager.
The Football Club Board has been reviewing all of the applications and producing a list of candidates to interview. Preliminary interviews are due to take place over the next few days, with a view to appointing a new manager next week.
The Board are of course determined to make rapid progress on this and to have the right manager in place as soon as possible. In the meantime, we are grateful to Simon Bassey and Steven Reid for managing the team on an interim basis.
