AFC Wimbledon’s development squad will step-up preparations for the competitive season by facing Merstham’s first-team on Tuesday night (7.45 pm kick-off).
The match will take place at The Specsavers Stadium, home of Merstham FC, where our Under-23s regularly play league games. Tuesday’s game will come a week before Alan Reeves’s squad start the Central League South campaign.
Forward Tommy Wood (pictured) is one of the new players in the development squad and he will be aiming to get among the goals for his new club.
Spectators are welcome to attend Tuesday’s match with entry prices at £5 for adults and £3 for kids and concessions. Supporters are also welcome in the clubhouse and there will be a special offer of £2 a pint on Budweiser between 7 pm and 10 pm.
