Our recent AFC Wimbledon Ladies & Girls Day was a great success with fans making generous donations and the Grand Draw raising valuable funds.
Dons Ladies & Girls Chairman Dennis Lowndes wished to thank all supporters for their generosity on the day of the Gillingham match.
The bucket collection raised £760.13 with the Grand Draw adding £1,183 to the club fund.
AFC Wimbledon Ladies and Girls are a completely volunteer-run organisation, providing football for over 300 players every week, and all proceeds will be ploughed back into improving female football.
This Saturday it’s AFC Wimbledon Foundation Day and a raffle will be held to raise funds for an important community project to help disadvantaged children. There’s also an opportunity to contribute online, so anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated. See our previous article for more details.
