Folivi scores as Deji steps up return

The Dons field strong line-up in behind closed doors friendly

9 April 2019

Michael Folivi scored and Deji Oshilaja stepped up his return from injury in a behind closed doors friendly against Cambridge United this afternoon.

Wimbledon fielded a strong line-up in the match played at Merstham's ground, which finished 1-1. The game boosted the match fitness and sharpness of many of The Dons squad, ahead of their remaining five League One fixtures.

Folivi (pictured) opened the scoring just before half-time for Wimbledon, but Cambridge drew level ten minutes into the second-half. Oshilaja is making his way back from bone bruising to his foot. He completed 75 minutes and was replaced by under-18s defender Archie Procter. Dylan Connolly came on for Kwesi Appiah at the start of the second-half.

AFC Wimbledon: McDonnell, Watson, Thomas, Oshilaja (Procter 75), Garratt, Barcham (Burey 75), McLoughlin, Soares, Pinnock (Assal 75), Appiah (Connolly 45), Folivi.
