Aaron in top form at midweek session

Young England keeper put through his paces in testing conditions

10 April 2019

Aaron Ramsdale showed exactly why he’s been deserving of plaudits, as he pulled off some great saves in preparation for another important game.

The goalkeeper, on loan from Premier League Bournemouth until the end of the season, trained with the England squad recently. He earned Quest TV’s League One Player of the Month accolade and is shortlisted for the PFA award for March.

Wimbledon fans can vote for “Rambo” up until 8.00 am tomorrow morning by clicking on our previous article from earlier today.

Aaron wasn’t the only Dons keeper in top form at our midweek session in testing conditions at the training ground. New Zealand international Nik Tzanev and Academy goalkeeper Bert White were also put through their paces by our Goalkeeper Coach Ashley Bayes.

You can view the session below, via the link to our official You Tube channel.

Manager Wally Downes took charge of a young first team squad at the training session and you can view some of Wimbledon’s early preparations for Oxford below.
