Will Nightingale helped spread awareness about mental health by attending a 'Get Set to Go' launch event at Charlton Athletic's training ground in New Eltham.
Our captain, who is back in the first-team picture after injury, supported the initiative by mental health charity Mind, in partnership with the EFL.
The initiative is England’s first large scale programme to help people with mental health problems overcome the barriers to taking up a sport and Will was joined by Charlton Athletic’s Lewis Page and Millwall’s Shane Ferguson at the launch event.
Will was interviewed by Sky Sports, BBC Radio London, and BBC Sport online, about the importance of supporting those affected by mental health. Take a look below at the short video we've put together about the event, including interviews with Will and Hayley Jarvis, Community Programme Manager for Sport at Mind.
