Wimbledon's first fixture in this season's competition is against Brighton

The EFL and have today announced a three-year deal that will see the leading new car marketplace become the Official Title Sponsor of the EFL Trophy.

The exclusive partnership sees the competition become known as the ‘ Trophy’ with immediate effect, with the deal running until the conclusion of the 2021/22 season.

The competition kicks off this week, with three matches taking place, as Manchester United U21s and Liverpool U21s make their debuts in the competition, with Group Stage games against Rotherham United and Oldham Athletic, respectively. Swindon Town host Chelsea U21s in the week’s remaining fixture.

Wimbledon's first fixture in the competition this season is against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Tuesday 3 September (7.30 pm kick-off). See the bottom of this page for details of our three group fixtures.

As well as the title sponsorship, which encompasses all 127 matches across six rounds, culminating in a showpiece final at Wembley Stadium, will be an official partner with a portfolio of rights across the EFL and the EFL’s digital network.

The competition will continue in the same format, with a prize fund of almost £3million again on offer for a further three seasons, following a recent agreement to continue with the current format by EFL Clubs.

The Dons are in Group C this season with the following fixtures:

  • Brighton & Hove Albion on 3 September (at home, 7.30 pm kick-off)
  • Leyton Orient on 8 October (at home, 7.30 pm kick-off)
  • Southend United on 12 November (away, 7.45 pm kick-off)

Ticket prices for our home games (Paul Strank Stand only) are as follows:

  • All Adults (including concessions) £10
  • Under 18s £5.
