We really brought the Christmas spirit to St George's Hospital in Tooting this week - as our festive video shows.
Haydon the Womble, Glyn, Nick and the lads plus representatives from our ladies team handed out sacksful of Santa surprises in the children's wards. The kids had a great time as they unwrapped new games or tried on woolly scarves and hats from our club shop.
Many of the toys were brought by the AFC Wimbledon Foundation from their own resources, with donations from children and parents at our Wimbledon Park PDC session, Christchurch Primary, Battersea, where they deliver Primary Stars, and a small amount from the Dons fans over the last 2 home games. So, a massive 'thank you' to everyone who contributed.
One member of the hospital staff said: "It made a massive difference to everyone here and put a huge smile on the children's faces."
