Match Details: Support the battle for vital points

Arrangements for Saturday's game against Burton

8 February 2019

AFC Wimbledon will on Saturday be aiming to recreate a bit of the cup magic that swept aside West Ham when Burton Albion visit the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Tickets are available to show your support for Wally’s boys in the first home match since that impressive Emirates FA Cup victory. The Dons have four league games in February and your support will be very much appreciated in the pursuit of valuable points.

Below is a summary of ticket availability and other match arrangements ahead of tomorrow’s game.

Tickets

You can buy in advance for the Chemflow End and the RyGas terrace. Tickets are available in advance up until 11.00 am on Saturday with pre-match collection from the white ticket booth (next to the Dons Trust Kiosk). Alternatively, tickets will be available on the day. Please note that all tickets ordered after 2.00 pm on Wednesday will be available for collection at the white booth.

At present, seated tickets are sold out. However, returns are expected to be available, so please e-mail info@afcwimbledon.ltd.uk to be put on a waiting list.

Programme

Tomorrow’s edition is well worth adding to your collection. It includes an extensive interview with on-loan goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who talks about bouncing back after being released by Bolton Wanderers as a 15-year-old. Since then, Aaron has earned a big money move to AFC Bournemouth, won international youth honours with England, and now he’s eager to boost Wimbledon’s survival bid. There’s an interesting interview in Saturday’s programme with Jon Meades, who updates us on his first six months as part of our academy’s coaching team after his retirement from playing.

Bars

The Your Golf Travel Bar will be open from 12 noon on Saturday with a wide selection of drinks, including real ales. Plough Lane Ale, Adnams Southwold Bitter, and XXK will be served up in the YGT Bar. The Back Bar will also be open from the same time with Plough Lane Ale, Wimbledon Common, and XXK as the real ales available. The pop-up bar (located in the Your Golf Travel Bar) will also be open, selling drinks including Wimbledon Pale Ale and Wimbledon Gold.

We will be showing live football on TV screens in the bars before and after Wimbledon’s match. The early televised match features Fulham v Man United (12.30 pm kick-off) with Brighton hosting Burnley (5.30 pm kick-off). We will be pleased to welcome Burton Albion supporters into the bar areas.

DT Kiosk

DT members and people interested in the work of the Trust are welcome to visit the Dons Trust Kiosk before the match. You can also join the Trust or renew your membership at the kiosk, sign up to the Dons Draw (our regular monthly lottery) or donate loose change, foreign currency or items for AFCbay (our online auction). DTB members on duty tomorrow will be Jane Lonsdale and Luke Mackenzie.

Golden Goals

Win the £100 first prize by buying a Golden Goal ticket tomorrow! Entry costs just £1, so look out for our Golden Goal sellers around the stadium before the game on Saturday.

Tickets for away games

The Dons are at Walsall on Tuesday night and you can buy tickets for this game before or after Saturday's game from the complimentary tickets window.
