Wally Downes today confirmed that Scott Wagstaff has returned to full training and he expects Terell Thomas to also join in with the rest of the squad on Thursday.
Midfielder Wagstaff has been missing with a calf injury since the victory at Wycombe Wanderers, but he’s made good progress recently. Thomas (pictured) was forced off in the Emirates FA Cup win at Fleetwood with a calf strain and he missed the draw at Coventry last time out.
Wally said: “Terell has been training in the last couple of days with Jason Moriarty and Stuart Douglas. Today, he was properly out on the training field doing some running and I expect him to be back training with the squad on Thursday. We will get him going and get the best out of him. He’s been terrific for me so far.
“Scott has fully trained yesterday and today. I am assuming he will have no reaction to that and he will be available for selection on Saturday against Barnsley.”
