AFC Wimbledon face Championship opposition with Brentford visiting the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Friday (7.45 pm kick-off) and tickets will be available on the night.
Following a 1-0 win at Wexford on Saturday, Wimbledon are gearing up for a first summer friendly at the Cherry Red Records Stadium. Bees Head Coach Thomas Frank will be aiming to engineer a play-off push in the Sky Bet Championship in 2019/20 after last season's 11th place finish. Brentford are therefore likely to provide a tough test on Friday, but former Brentford manager Wally Downes will be seeking to build on his superb start back with The Dons and tomorrow's match offers a first chance to watch Wimbledon on home turf this summer.
Brentford last visited Wimbledon almost two years ago with extra-time required to separate the two sides, the Bees eventually edging it 3-1 (the picture above shows Anthony Hartigan in action during that match).
