We caught up with Glyn Hodges before the squad made the trip to La Manga today, as AFC Wimbledon embark on another European trip.
Following the weekend visit to Germany, our cameras captured the squad in their final training session at New Malden, before The Dons prepared to take on AFC Bournemouth tonight (7.45 pm kick-off).
Speaking ahead of the trip, Glyn said: “I am looking forward to the Bournemouth match, that’s a fantastic one that came out of the blue. We had a tough training session as some of them played Friday and others played on Saturday. We probably did a little bit less intensity wise, but we still got the main body of the work done. Now we are working on patterns of play, just to get them moving the ball quickly, get the combinations going, and stuff like that. Fitness is the key because we still have plenty of time to do the technical stuff. We are halfway through pre-season with three weeks still to go so there’s still a bit more work to do.”
