Wally Downes is hopeful that new signing Luke O'Neill will be involved in tomorrow night's friendly against Bristol City.
Our new right-back joined last Thursday, but sat out the first home pre-season friendly against Brentford on Friday night. Wally is hopeful though that Luke will get some game time for The Dons on Tuesday at The Cherry Red Records Stadium.
"Hopefully he'll be involved," said Wally. "He may get the shorter period of thirty minutes at the end, just to ease himself in.
"It was Luke's first day today and he knows a few of the lads - Scott Wagstaff and Anthony Wordsworth - at different clubs throughout their careers. They come in together in the car pool, so there'll be no problem with him settling in I would have thought."
You can buy tickets in advance for tomorrow evening's game against Championship opposition, up until 3 pm on Tuesday. The Robins finished a very repectable eighth last season under manager Lee Johnson.
It will also be possible to purchase tickets on the night for this game, which kicks-off at 7.45 pm.
