AFC Wimbledon’s final pre-season match before the big kick-off is against top-flight club Crystal Palace on Tuesday 30 July (7.45 pm kick-off) and tickets are available in advance.
Former England manager Roy Hodgson (pictured at the Cherry Red Records Stadium last season) will be bringing a Palace side gearing up for another Premier League season, so it’s sure to be a difficult test for Wimbledon.
The match will come just four days before Wimbledon start the new League One season at home to Rotherham United. Wally Downes will be aiming to fine-tune preparations for the 2019/20 season against one of his former clubs, our boss having previously coached at Palace when Steve Coppell was manager.
