AFC Wimbledon supporter Herbie Knott is showing no signs of slowing down with age as he gears up for a 145-mile charity challenge.
Herbie will be marking his 70th Birthday by taking part for the second successive year in the London to Amsterdam cycling event this weekend. Starting from the Olympic Velodrome on Friday, the route takes in Harwich and the Hook of Holland, before finishing at the Amsterdam ArenA, home of Ajax.
Our Dons representative will be participating under the team banner ‘Wombles to Amsterdam’ and his preparations have involved completing over 1,100 miles on the hills of Herefordshire.
