Meet the AFC Wimbledon Disabled Supporters Association this Saturday

The Dons are proud to support Level Playing Field’s weeks of action

8 March 2019

To mark Level Playing Fields' (LPF) weeks of action, AFC Wimbledon’s Disability Supporters Association (DSA) are officially launching this Saturday 9 March.

The AFC Wimbledon DSA will be situated next to the white ticket booth before our game against Doncaster Rovers.

Jess and Chris, Chair and Vice-Chair, from our DSA will be handing out leaflets about their work and taking contact information from fans who want to find out more. Pop along and say hello before the big match this weekend.

The LPF annual celebration of disabled football supporters is now in its 15th year and aims to shine a positive light on the work being done by Clubs, disabled supporters’ associations, fans and other organisations towards delivering access and inclusion.

In doing so, it aims to promote a better matchday experience for disabled football supporters while encouraging more disabled people to go and watch matches.

You can get involved in the Weeks of Action campaign by posting your messages of support on Twitter and Facebook (@lpftweets) using the hashtag #WeeksOfAction. Find out more by visiting www.levelplayingfield.org.uk

If you don’t already make sure you follow AFC Wimbledon DSA on Twitter to find out how they are making our great club more inclusive for all fans.
