Tommy Wood enjoyed the perfect start to his loan spell at Burgess Hill Town by striking the winning goal on his debut.
The 20-year-old fired the decisive goal in a 3-2 win for Burgess Hill against Kingstonian at King George’s Field. It was a goal that keeps alive hopes of staying up for Burgess Hill in the Bostik League Premier Division.
Tommy recently signed a new contract at AFC Wimbledon after a promising season at development level.
Meanwhile, Dons goalkeeper Nik Tzanev continued his loan stint at Potters Bar Town by featuring in the Bostik League Premier Division match against AFC Hornchurch. Potters Bar were beaten 1-0 at home. Nik also recently signed a new contract with The Dons.
