Former Dons manager on the verge of Wembley final

Dave Anderson has guided Combined Counties side into semi-final of competition

28 March 2019

Dave Anderson will on Saturday bid to lead Chertsey Town into the final of the FA Vase – and our former manager is inviting Dons fans to cheer on his team!

After coming out of managerial ‘retirement’, Dave has guided the Curfews into the semi-final of the national competition and on Saturday they take on Northwich Victoria in the second leg.

For those Dons supporters not travelling to Scunthorpe on Saturday, you can get along to Alwyns Lane to show your support for Dave’s boys.

Dave, who has Chertsey firmly in contention for promotion from the Combined Counties Premier League, has appealed on social media for your support!

Gates open at 1.00 pm at Alwyns Lane (KT16 9DW) on Saturday with kick-off at 3.00 pm. The outcome is in the balance with the score at 1-1 after the first leg. Ticket prices are as follows: Adult £9, Concessions £5, Under-12 £2.
