AFC Wimbledon Foundation are launching exciting football coaching sessions for girls on Saturday at Wimbledon Park.
Following International Women’s Day, the initiative is aimed at girls of 11 years and over that are currently attending secondary schools.
The sessions are delivered in partnership with Premier League Girls Football, which aims to provide opportunities for females aged 11 and over to take part in the sport in a local community setting.
Kasha Petit, Female development and Health Officer at AFC Wimbledon Foundation, said: “The focus of the session is on fun and giving girls more opportunity to play football and small sided matches within a safe and friendly environment.”
Saturday’s session starts at 10.30 am until 11.30 am at Wimbledon Park (SW18 5NN) with timings of 10.30 am until 11.30 am on future weeks. It’s just £1 to take part in Saturday’s introductory session and £3 after that. Join in the fun at Wimbledon Park!
