New signing Nesta Guinness-Walker will return to his previous club Metropolitan Police in July for a pre-season friendly.
Wimbledon will face the Southern Premier League side at Imber Court on Tuesday 23 July (7.45 pm kick-off). We last week announced the addition of left-back Guinness-Walker (pictured), who attracted plenty of interest in his signature from EFL and Premier League clubs.
The friendly will bring back memories of Wimbledon capturing silverware with a Dons side including Will Nightingale having won the London Senior Cup against Met Police back in 2014.
We’ve now confirmed five friendly matches in preparation for 2019/20 and these are as follows:
5 July (7.45 pm kick-off) - Brentford at home
9 July (7.45 pm kick-off) – Bristol City at home
12 July (7.00 pm kick-off German time) - Kaiserslautern away
13 July (3.00 pm kick-off German time) – Kickers Offenbach away
23 July (7.45 pm kick-off) – Met Police away
