Aaron Ramsdale's superb form during April has been rewarded with a nomination for the PFA Bristol Street Motors League One Player of the Month.
In a month that proved pivotal to AFC Wimbledon's Great Escape, Rambo kept one clean sheet in five matches, but he made 24 saves in total, more than any other League One keeper. It included a remarkable performance to defy League One title winners Luton Town, making eight saves to deny The Hatters, in a game that ended with a last-gasp equaliser from Steve Seddon.
Dons supporters can vote Rambo by visiting the PFA website. Please note that voting closes at 8.00 am on Thursday.
Apart from Rambo, who was also on the shortlist in March, every other player nominated is from a club already promoted, or in the play-offs.
The six players nominated are as follows:
- Aaron Ramsdale (Wimbledon)
- Lyle Taylor (Charlton Athletic)
- Cawley Woodrow (Barnsley)
- Alex Mowatt (Barnsley)
- James Collins (Luton Town)
- Jamal Lowe (Portsmouth)
