Glyn Hodges embarks on a new FA Cup journey on Saturday as a manager, having gone close on a couple of occasions to lifting the famous silverware as a player.
We sat down with Glyn at the training ground, in the build-up to Saturday's first round tie at home to Doncaster Rovers, where he reflected on missing out on FA Cup glory with Wimbledon in 1988. Glyn went close with The Dons the year before though, reaching a quarter-final against Tottenham at Plough Lane.
Six years later Glyn was part of a Sheffield United side, along with fellow ex-Dons Brian Gayle, John Gannon, Kevin Gage and Alan Cork, that played at Wembley in a landmark, "Steel City" derby. Relive Glyn's trip down memory lane in the video below, via the link to our official YouTube channel.
You can also see Glyn preparing the squad for our FA Cup tie on the training pitch at our New Malden base. New Assistant Manager Nick Daws kept Wimbledon striker Joe Pigott focused in front of goal.
