The Dons Trust Board has today written to members, ahead of a special general meeting on 9 December.
The annual general meetings of the Dons Trust and AFCW PLC have now been rescheduled for 8 January, as the accounts are being finalised.
The Dons Trust’s SGM on 9 December has a number of items on the agenda, including the outcome of the board elections and two members’ resolutions regarding recent managerial changes.
There is also a major topic to be discussed regarding the financing of our new stadium, ahead of some consultations and key decisions in the new year.
In view of the importance of this issue, we encourage as many Trust members as possible to come along and take part in the discussion. We will be making arrangements to accommodate a larger than usual number of attendees at the meeting and, for those who are unable to attend in person, to live-stream it on the Trust’s YouTube channel. Look out for further details on how to access the live-stream closer to the date of the meeting.
The 9 December meeting will be for Dons Trust members only. The 8 January AGMs will be for Dons Trust members and AFCW PLC shareholders only.
We encourage members to read the SGM papers carefully in advance. If you have not received them by the end of the week through your usual form of communication, then please (for email recipients) check your spam/junk folder, and contact firstname.lastname@example.org to check your membership status.
For those of you who aren’t Trust members, we encourage all fans to join and make their opinions heard. You can join the trust by visiting the website.
