The appointment of Glyn Hodges as Wimbledon manager brought memories flooding back of a golden era for The Dons - and we thought we would share some of them to mark a special 'Throwback Thursday'.
We've turned the clock back to 22 February 1987 and a classic FA Cup tie at Plough Lane, which ended with a 3-1 win for Wimbledon against Everton, Glyn (pictured in action above) netting the equaliser in that match.
Paul Wilkinson had given the lead to Everton, who would go on to win the title later that season, but The Dons stormed back with Glyn netting the equaliser, before John Fashanu put Wimbledon in front. Though Glyn had an effort ruled out for offside, Andy Sayer sealed victory for Wimbledon.
Take a look below at BBC coverage from the day, which includes great footage of Plough Lane from back in the day.
