Striker Tommy Wood notched another double and earned the man of the match award on Saturday.
The former Burnley youngster (pictured) bagged a brace, in the 2nd and 81st minutes, as Leatherhead disposed of Ware 3-0 at Fetcham Grove in the FA Trophy. Fellow Dons loanee Finlay Macnab also caught the eye, as he got 45 minutes having come on as a substitute.
Although there was no first team fixture for Wimbledon, there were plenty of other young Dons in action elsewhere.
It was also a good week for midfield colleague Ayoub Assal. Having scored a superb, individual goal for Met Police in their 2-1 win against Harrow Borough in midweek, Ayoub was again on the winning team at the weekend. Met Police beat Tilbury 4-3 in an FA Trophy qualifier at Imber Court
Striker Zach Robinson didn't have such luck this time around though. He was part of the Basingstoke Town team that went out 1-0 at Melksham Town. Defender Reuben Collins missed the game through injury.
It also wasn't to be for skillful midfielder Jack Rudoni. He was named in the Tonbridge Angels starting line-up for their National League South fixture at Wealdstone, which ended in a 3-1 defeat for the visitors from Kent.
Third year scholar Richie Mbele was also on target on Saturday. The midfielder equalised for Godalming Town at AFC Hayes in Division One of the Combined Counties League. However, he ended up on the receiving end of a 3-1 defeat.
Winger Dylan Connolly has been nursing a calf injury, but there was no game for Bradford City this weekend as their Sky Bet League Two fixture at Macclesfield Town fell victim to the weather.
