Zach Robinson continued his prolific scoring form at Basingstoke Town by netting a vital goal on Saturday.

The 17-year-old Dons striker fired home the winner in a 3-2 FA Trophy Preliminary Round victory at Cirencester Town. Defender Reuben Collins, who is also on loan at Basingstoke, played a pivotal role at the back as he completed the full 90 minutes.

There was also another scoring contribution from Tommy Wood on Saturday. Tommy struck the second goal for Leatherhead in a 4-1 win at Merstham, a venue he is familiar with from playing there for our development squad. Finlay Macnab came on as a substitute in the 70th minute, the midfielder also playing his part in helping Leatherhead to move up to 12th place in the BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division.

Dylan Connolly has made a notable impression since making a loan switch to Bradford City and he helped the Bantams move up to third place in League 2 on Saturday. The winger claimed an assist by beating his marker and squaring the ball for Hope Akpan to strike the opener.

Elsewhere, Ayoub Assal featured for Met Police in a 1-0 defeat at Yate Town, his side beaten by a 93rd minute winner from Louis Britton. Jack Rudoni featured for Tonbridge Angels in a 5-1 win versus Braintree Town. Our Under-18s midfielder Richie Mbele was a late substitute for Godalming Town in a 3-1 defeat versus Dorkinian.
