Max could face Shrewsbury after shaking off injury

New loan signing could make home debut on Saturday

11 September 2019

Max Sanders has made good progress from the knee injury that blighted his promising debut on Saturday - and he's likely to be fit to take on Shrewsbury.

The midfielder, who is on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, suffered a blow to his knee during last Saturday's away game, but he stayed on as Wimbledon had already made three substitutes.

However, he has made good progress since. Our physio Stuart Douglas confirmed that Max had only suffered bruising to his knee and he could return to full training on Thursday.

Tickets are available to watch The Dons take on Shrewsbury on Saturday with Max and fellow new signings Marcus Forss and Ryan Delaney all in contention to make their home debuts. Book a ticket in advance from our online ticket shop.
