Alex Folkes, Chair of the Elections Steering Group, said: “I therefore declare that Hannah Kitcher, Xavier Wiggins, Charlie Talbot and Luke Mackenzie have been elected to serve two-year terms as Dons Trust Board members and that Niall Couper has been elected to serve a one-year term. Congratulations to all of them.
"My thanks to all the candidates and voters, and particularly to the members of the ESG: David Hall, George Jones and Julian Edwards, and to our independent scrutineer Neil Springate.
“The work of the ESG has not finished. Despite the great turnout, we are keen to learn lessons - both positive and not - from this year's elections and to make recommendations for how to improve them in the future. Anyone who has thoughts is welcome to submit them to the ESG via firstname.lastname@example.org .We would ask that your comments are sent while they are fresh in your mind and by the end of December at the latest, as we aim to have our proposals ready for the January DT meeting.”
