It’s the book that everyone’s praising – but today really is your last chance to get a copy before Christmas.
We Are Home, the complete history of our club and return to Plough Lane, has triggered a stampede of demand and some incredible comments from fans who’ve already had a sneak peak. "Brilliant!" "Stunning!" "Belting!" "Superb!" and “Magnificent!” pretty much sums up the feedback we’ve been receiving.
However, the clock really is ticking. Because of the new Tier 4 Covid restrictions, the only way to purchase We Are Home is now online. If you want a copy for Christmas, then it is ESSENTIAL you order before midnight TONIGHT (Sunday, December 20) and the book should still arrive on time.
But please don’t delay, just go straight to shop.visionsp.co.uk/wearehome and place your order.
You won’t see We Are Home on Amazon because we want every penny it earns to go straight back into our club funds.
If you have any doubts about buying a copy, then just read what our fans are saying. Local historian Geoff Simmons wrote: “You should win an award for this. I’m blown away with how meticulous it is and how good it looks and feels.”
One fan couldn’t wait for Christmas Day to take a quick peek. After scanning the pages, he quickly wrapped it back up in Xmas paper, addressed it to himself and stuck it back under the tree!
Meanwhile, Barrie Scott, from West Molesey, proclaimed: "It's better than brilliant", while Tom Gavin, from Wimbledon, added: "Jaw-droppingly stunning."
Another fan, Michael Maurer from Twickenham, added: "Brilliant - I can't put it down." Ian Strutt wrote: “Seldom have I laughed and cried so much at the same time. A wonderful book.”
Other supporters left posts online. Among our favourites were: "My book arrived this morning and it looks belting."
Another wrote: "The book is superb. Got a bit of a shock when I saw that I was in it! But I guess if I ever have grand kids I'll show them."
One supporter commented: "Just received the book. Great photos of the 74-75 team including 'God' Roger Connell cleaning his boots in the dressing room."
Another said: "We Are Home just delivered. Worth every penny," while one fan simply wrote: "The book is magnificent."
We couldn't have put it better ourselves! Just DON’T MISS tonight’s deadline.
