Terell Thomas says that the squad are fit and raring to go once again, as the players gear up for a sixth match in just 15 days.

The Dons host Bristol Rovers tomorrow with a chance to move into the top-10 after an impressive victory against Peterborough United – our first since the return to Plough Lane.

“Consistency is key,” said Terell. “If you get a couple of wins back to back it can help your season tremendously. It allows you to get some flow into the games. The feeling around the camp is really good at the moment.

“It was a great feeling to get that first win back at Plough Lane. Everyone was buzzing after the game and we just want to take that performance, that energy, and the level of performance into the next game.

“The day after a game the players that started can’t really go out and train fully. It’s a recovery session for them and then you get to two days after a game and you have another match the next day. It’s just match prep then, so it’s hard to do actual work and a proper training session with the full squad, but I think the lads have been professional about everything: sleep, food, and other stuff to help us recover. We are fit and ready.”
