Joyful scenes at Rotherham after last-gasp equaliser

A total of 248 travelling Dons watch their team earn a creditable point

Our supporters defied Storm Dennis to cheer on AFC Wimbledon to a battling draw at league leaders Rotherham on Saturday.

It was a fantastic effort by our travelling supporters to beat the elements and provide great support for Glyn's boys in South Yorkshire.

A highly creditable display from our squad certainly made the trip worthwhile and you can take a look at our picture gallery above to relive a fine day up north for The Dons. Max Sanders scored arguably our goal of the season and it was a significant one for the on-loan Brighton midfielder as it was his first senior goal.

Wimbledon had to dig in to defy the rampant leaders and Mads Bech Sorsensen, wearing a face mask to protect a head injury, played his part at the back. Of course, the game ended with Kwesi Appiah showing nerves of steel to convert the all-important penalty in stoppage time and the celebrations were not too bad either!
