A look back at Wimbledon's resounding away victory in Sussex

3 January 2020

On 3 January 2009 over 1,000 Dons fans travelled to Bognor Regis Town - and they came away very happy as Wimbledon marched to a 5-1 win!

Danny Kedwell struck a superb double, Kennedy Adjei and Jake Leberl also on target, and a Sam Pearce own goal, meant that Wimbledon earned an emphatic win on the south coast. With Chelmsford City - Wimbledon's arch rivals at the time - losing on the same day, it was a pivotal weekend in the title race. Terry Brown's men memorably went onto clinch the Blue Square South title - and promotion to the non league's top-flight.

Take a look at the goals from the memorable win at Bognor below. Please note that the first goal is blocked out due to Terry Brown getting in the way of the cameraman!
