Club physio Stuart Douglas said that he’s awaiting the results of a scan on the injury to Marcus Forss.
The centre-forward was injured just after the half hour mark on Saturday at Fratton Park and Stuart added that he will liaise with Marcus’s parent club Brentford on the best course of action for managing the situation.
“Marcus pulled up with a hamstring injury and initially the plan in the first 24 hours was to let the injury settle: use ice, compression, the normal things that you do. Today, he had an MRI scan and once we get that report we will know the severity of the injury, and then we can plan from there. We are just awaiting the report and once we get that we will go from there. We can then liaise with the medical team at Brentford and devise a plan for Marcus.”
