Marcus Forss has been recognised for a prolific December by being nominated for the Sky Bet EFL Player of the Month award.
The striker, who is on loan at Wimbledon from Brentford, struck four goals during December, including a superb double in the draw at Bolton Wanderers. His goals helped Wimbledon to gain seven important points last month.
His nomination by the judging panel included the following note:
"Four goals and an assist from the Finn helped Wimbledon ease their relegation fears. It is his positioning and calmness in front of goal which impresses most. Two cool finishes at Bolton demonstrated his predatory instincts."
Forss is one of four players on the League One shortlist with the winners for each division to be announced on Friday.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
