Wimbledon supporter Celia Blair has put together an impressive window display at her Earlsfield home with Ted dressed up in a blue and yellow jumper!
Dons fans passing by can see Ted with AFC Wimbledon badges on his arms, and the blue petunias that replaced the yellow marigolds, which were there all winter.
Celia told us about her special display in a letter to the club, and this is published in full below.
There are other AFC Wimbledon posters in my windows, so even though I am “shielded” and have not been well enough to go to matches (even before Covid 19), I am doing my bit to raise the status of the club. I have seen great photos of the new Plough Lane stadium and its pitch is looking excellent.
I have fond memories of the original Plough Lane. I went to quite a few matches there and to the Cup Final at Wembley! I knitted Ted’s jumper when my son was a child and he started to go to matches with his father!
