Saturday's hosts welcome Wimbledon fans

Away fans' guide: Doncaster Rovers

11 March 2020

Your support for The Dons at the Keepmoat Stadium this Saturday is as always greatly appreciated, and our hosts are making away fans welcome.

Wimbledon visit Doncaster Rovers in Sky Bet League One this weekend (3pm kick-off), with the South Yorkshire club aiming to enhance travelling supporters’ matchday experience.

Our picture shows Mitch Pinnock opening the scoring for The Dons in our last league visit to the Keepmoat Stadium in November of 2018.

Before the game, Foundation staff will be on hand carrying out a themed skill test where prizes can be won. A face painter will also be available, as well as a games console for younger fans to play on before the match - all in a dedicated away fans area.

Young Dons that arrive before 2:15pm will get the chance with their guardian to be selected to watch the players warm-up from the away dugout.

Supporters Liaison Officer Dean Medcalf will be available to help with any issues or assist our fans on the day. Dean will be around the footprint of the stadium pre-match, wearing a Doncaster Rovers rain jacket with “SLO” on the front and back. He’ll also be available outside the away end post-match.

Ahead of the game there are also two social media accounts designed to assist away fans, which on twitter can be found at @DRFC_AWAY. There’s also a Facebook Page (DRFC SLO) for all the latest information regarding your visit and a guide is available to download, so you can get the best out of your day following The Dons on the road.
