Jon Meades made a significant contribution to the AFC Wimbledon story during his two spells at the club and he was an emphatic choice to fill the left-back spot in your team of the decade.

Initially signed on loan from Cardiff City in 2012, his Dons career didn't get off to the best of starts as he made his debut in a defeat in South Devon.

"I remember that my first Wimbledon game was on a cold Tuesday night at Exeter! Unfortunately, we lost that game, but it was an incredible journey for me after that."

Jon's journey included helping Wimbledon to stay in the league with a final-day victory against Fleetwood in his first spell here, before he returned to help us to promotion at Wembley in 2016. Jon made 126 Dons appearances in total and his two stints at Wimbledon included several vital goals. Take a look at our video special on Jon, including that fantastic knee-slide celebration at Bury! In case you missed it, here's a reminder of the #teamofthedecade that you chose a few months ago.
