Young forward Zach Robinson netted again at the weekend, to reward Leatherhead’s community spirit for getting their game on against East Thurrock.

Zach (pictured warming-up recently for Wimbledon) scored the second goal for the Tanners in a 3-0 victory in the Isthmian League, after supporters had helped clear a flooded playing surface at Fetcham Grove.

Giant centre-back Reuben Collins, who played with Zach for Basingstoke Town earlier this season, has been on the move again.

Having returned from a brief spell with Ossama Ashley at Billericay Town, Reuben joined Merstham in time to play in their 2-2 draw with Bognor Regis Town. Former Dons youngster and Academy team mate Bobby Mills scored Merstham’s opener.

Goalkeeper Nik Tzanev has been in top form for Sutton United. He kept another clean sheet in their 2-0 victory at home to Torquay United, as they moved closer to mid-table safety in the National League. Ade Azeez featured in the visitors starting line-up.

It looked set for a positive outcome for defender Archie Procter and midfielder Ayoub Assal, as they started for Metropolitan Police in their game against Harrow Borough at Imber Court. Having held a 1-0 lead at the break though the hosts went on to lose 3-1.

Goalkeeper Bert White pulled off another string of important saves, as Walton and Hersham beat Tooting Bec 3-1 to climb the Combined Counties League Division One table. Bert’s latest display came off the back of two clean sheets for the Swans.

Irish winger Dylan Connolly played in Bradford City’s 2-0 defeat to Salford City in Sky Bet League Two. The match also featured two of Wimbledon’s play-off promotion-winning side in opposition as Salford, with forward Tom Elliott in their side, got the better of a Bradford team who also included Jake Reeves.

Third year scholar Jamil Awoyejo was an unused substitute for South Park in their 1-0 defeat at Barking, while striker Tommy Wood was left without a game too as Tonbridge’s match against Eastbourne Borough was postponed.

Right–back Kyron Stabana was on the bench for Cork City, along with former Dons defender Alan Bennett, for their 1-0 defeat at St Patrick’s Athletic in Ireland on Friday night.
