Fantastic community project earns headlines

22 May 2020

The tireless work of our Dons Local Action Group volunteers will be featured on BBC London News from 6.30 pm tonight (Friday).

With over 600 volunteers having delivered 10,500 weekly food boxes so far, it certainly deserves to make BBC headlines!

The feature will include interviews with Xavier Wiggins from the Dons Local Action Group, our Chief Executive Joe Palmer, and Commercial Director Ivor Heller.

Our Dons Local Action Group are looking for more volunteers to help this great community project. If you can help, contact 020 3301 4511 (9am-6pm), or you can e-mail .

The picture above shows Rutlish School pupils Videl and George getting food ready for deliveries. In case you missed it, you can read an article about 14-year-old Videl, including why he decided to get involved.
