Ethan Chislett talked enthusiastically about the tough schedule to come this week after striking his first goal since the opening league match of the season.
“I just tried to come on and impact the game in a positive way,” said Ethan. “ The manager gave me a bit of freedom in an attacking sense. When Rudi got the ball in the area I knew with his quality that he would pick someone out and luckily it was me.
“There are a lot of games at this time of year and a lot of injuries. The pitches are getting progressively worse, so I think it (five subs rule) has come at the right time.
"The gaffer mentioned earlier in the day that he thought it was a positive that we had two weeks off and the boys took that view onto the pitch. It’s another clean sheet, which is a massive thing for our defensive line. We have to keep building on it, and keep getting wins away, and at home as well. I believe we can do really well in the coming games. For me in my head, that (scoring the winner) is just the start, and hopefully I can build on it now.”
